Meet Dr. Chip Scherer

Hello, my name is Dr. Chip Scherer. I was born and raised in Morrow, Georgia. I graduated from Morrow High School with a dual diploma in College Preparatory and Vocational training in 1995.

After graduation, I attended Georgia Southern University where I graduated in 1999 with a Pre-Dentistry major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I completed my Doctoral in Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in 2004 with awards from the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics.

I married my dental school sweetheart in 2004 and began the journey of founding Scherer Family and Cosmetic Dentistry at the beginning of 2006.

I belong to the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and Eastern District Dental Society, respectively. Furthermore, to keep abreast of current developments and dental techniques, I have always exceeded continuing education requirements in Georgia.

I have devoted my professional career to complete family dental care with an emphasis placed on cosmetics and prosthodontics (crowns, veneers, bridges, dentures, and partials). I love working with people every day to create healthier, happier, more beautiful smiles.

As much as I enjoy working with patients and our practice, my heart and soul are concentrated on my wife Dena, sons Chase and Chyler, and my little girl Camryn. I enjoy spending time with family, vacationing at the beach, traveling out west for some time in the mountains snow skiing, or watching my children’s faces light up at Disneyworld.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends, sports such as mountain biking, tennis, golf, racquetball, running, and church softball.
